Faux Queue
At the International Terminal at SFO the gates are below the shops and restaurants, so you can look down from the upper level and head downstairs when it is time to board. The time came, we headed downstairs and loitered toward the back waiting for our row to be called. Several British folks asked us, "Excuse me, are you the end of the queue?" There was no queue. What did they think this was, old school Southwest? After being asked a third time we moved out of faux queue range.

i suppose i don't understand why this happening was worthy of a post, though i did laugh at the phrase "faux queue range".
